Maria-Teresa Ortiz was born in Lima, Peru. At the age of two she began her journey around the world. Living in different countries made her learn about different cultures which has influenced and enriched her creative thinking process.
Now with more than two years of experience in the Fashion Industry and holding a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Miami International University of Art & Design in Fashion Merchandising she has gained a thorough expertise in marketing and communications.
Ortiz has a strong understanding of corporate clients and client relationships. She has the ability to conceptualize and express strategic brand direction. It is imperative for her to understand a brand, from their corporate identity, to who their target market is as well as their competition.
Ortiz has experience in Public Relations, building brand recognition through press delivery, editorial outreach, events, and promotional programs. She has also imbued experience with the development of mailers and look books.
She has worked as a stylist on several commercial and editorial photo shoots which have allowed her to develop strong creative production skills to manage photo shoots, talent, design, layout and final print.
